These UHF cards can be combined with HF technology such as MIFARE to address additional HF use cases such as Near Field Communication (NFC), contactless payment schemes, loyalty or access control. Ultra-high frequency (UHF RAIN) allow uses such as hands-free access or parking access, in addition to UHF ID badges, they are useful in environments where UHF readers are already installed.

The antenna design has been optimized to provide for additional options such as a contact chip or a horizontal punch slot to attach a badge holder without sacrificing RF performance. These UHF cards combine innovative RFID identification with industry-leading expertise in producing secure identity materials.

UHF and UHF-MIFARE cards are compatible with global EPC certification UHF Gen 2 Readers, provide 512-bit user memory, a range of up to 39ft (12m) and worldwide UHF frequency ranges in a single tag, ideal for international operations.
