The Alien® ALR-F800 Reader is the ultimate self-optimizing enterprise-class reader that empowers users to deploy best-in-class EPC Gen 2 RFID solutions for retail, supply chain, manufacturing, mobile asset tracking and asset management applications. With a new fifth-generation reader architecture it intelligently adapts and configures based on its environment.

The ALR-F800 offers the industry's best Power over Ethernet (PoE) transmission power and performance, its discrete architecture offers substantial improvements in function and performance over existing products on the market, includes industry-standard MicroSD and USB slots to add memory and additional features such as cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The Reader can accommodate large blocks of code or entire applications loaded directly into the device, provides the highest transmit power of any reader when operating on Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) power, and even provides seamless switching between DC power and PoE power.
